Welcome to Your Home Away From Home

Nestled amid century old oaks and less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean, there is a quiet place of refuge, St. Andrew’s Lighthouse.  Just as a lighthouse projects a strong beam of light to guide ships safely into harbor, it is our goal to provide a “beacon of light” to help restore a sense of calm to families during times of serious illness or injury.  

Located just minutes away from major Jacksonville area medical facilities, including the world renown Mayo Clinic, St. Andrew’s Lighthouse has had the privilege of helping over 1,100 families since opening the door for our first guests in June 2000.   

In 2008, 150+ families called the Lighthouse their "home away from home".  Our dedicated staff of volunteers donated more than 1,500 hours of service to help make their stay more comfortable.
